Hello,

My name is Mabel Talavera and I am the director of Mission Kidz Preschool. I have been in the ministry for over 40 years serving children of all ages as a Sunday school teacher, a teacher and many times a keynote speaker for the Missionettes Girls Program, and as a teacher for the Women Ministry. I've been a teacher since 2001 and have taught public preschool for more than eight years in Lawndale as a Lead Teacher and I am continuing my education at National University. I have three grown children and have been married to my husband Frank Talavera for 27 years. I am honored to serve our children and their families here at  Mission Kidz Preschool.

My name is Mrs. Karla Leos and I am 68 years old. I was just recently married again after being a widow for 13 years. I have five children, four step-children, 15 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. I have been a born again Christian for 28 years and have served in christian ministry for  27 years. I attended Los Angeles Harbor College and graduated with honors and an AA degree in Early Child Development Education. I love teaching all children about Jesus and It has been a privilege and an honor to serve children for many years. I hope to continue teaching for as long as God allows me to do so.

My name is Ms. Briana and I am absolutely honored to be your child’s preschool teacher this year! I grew up right here in Carson, Ca, and have been a preschool teacher since 2014. I graduated from Los Angeles Harbor College and received my degree in Liberal Arts. I am currently in school for Occupational Therapy at American Career College and will be graduating in Spring 2024. My favorite hobbies include hiking, weightlifting, and spending time with my amazing family. I have been a member of our church Mission Eben-Ezer since the day I was born, and I love the Lord with all my heart! Working with children has been such an incredible and fulfilling experience and I am so excited to take on The Little Tanks class this year!
